Network Technician
Job Purpose:
The Network Installation Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of routers and other network equipment at Pluxnet customer premises. The technician will ensure that all installations are performed professionally, efficiently, and in compliance with Pluxnet standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and configure customer premise routers for FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and FTTB (Fiber to the Business) connections.
Perform site assessments to determine optimal router placement and signal coverage.
Connect fiber optic cables to routers and ensure proper signal testing and verification.
Assist with troubleshooting connectivity issues and performing basic maintenance.
Educate customers on the proper use of installed equipment and provide basic training.
Document installation activities, including capturing installation photos, completing reports, and updating ticketing systems.
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies during all installations.
Maintain professional communication with customers.
Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve network issues remotely when on-site assistance is needed.
Keep inventory of installation equipment, tools, and consumables.
Customer Care Agent
